Where departments raise their game.

Three ways I work with schools.

Attika English works with English departments wanting examiner-grade insight, current CPD, and curriculum support that connects KS3 to KS4. Every engagement is shaped around the department's specific exam board, capacity, and priorities.

Half-day or full-day department sessions, designed and delivered by an experienced Team Leader examiner. Topics include demystifying the mark schemes, literacy, analytical writing, pedagogy, and Year 10/11 exam technique.

Attika English is led by Jeremy Bennett — an experienced Team Leader Examiner, current Approved Examiner, Former Lead Practitioner for English, with twenty-seven years in secondary teaching. NPQSL and NPQLL qualified.

Marking partnerships

Examiner-grade marking on exam board-aligned mocks, intervention pieces, and internal moderation. Useful where teacher marking capacity is stretched, or where departments want independent calibration ahead of a high-stakes assessment.

Curriculum design and audit

Backwards-planned curriculum development, KS3-to-KS4 sequencing, and independent curriculum audits with written reports. Available as project work or longer-term advisory.

Department advisory

Ongoing advisory work with English teams on a retainer or project basis. Brings examiner perspective into department-level decisions about curriculum, assessment, intervention, and exam preparation.

Ready to talk?

A 15-minute call costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We'll talk through where your student is right now, what they're working toward, and whether I'm the right fit. Most families find that one honest conversation saves months of uncertainty.
